We didn't call our site CouponPromoCode.ca for nothing - it's what we do! The purpose of this website is to help you make the best of your online shopping experience by making it easy to find the best deals for the best online stores. We do this by scouring through all of the deals that come our way every day. We pick out the best to include on our blog, and also add them to a page dedicated to that store on our website. We strive to include as many great stores as we can, and add new ones all the time. We are Canadians and our website is geared exclusively towards Canadians. Unlike most websites, we only post deals that are available in Canada.

Sometimes deals and promotions are only available to you if you use a special code at checkout. They work exactly the same way as old-fashioned paper coupons except instead of giving them to a cashier, when you're shopping online you enter in a code into your shopping cart or checkout page. Coupon codes go by a few names, usually either promo codes, voucher codes, promotional codes or discount codes - they're all the same!

Just like old-fashioned coupons, online promo codes are often only valid for a short period of time. Whenever possible, we make sure to include the expiration date of each coupon. Sometimes the merchant doesn't specify, in which case we'll let you know.

Every website has a different shopping cart and checkout system, but in general you'll find a spot either on the shopping cart page, or at some point in the checkout process. There are some exceptions, though. We provide brief instructions on where and how to enter in a promo code for every merchant that we include on our website. Our tip to online shoppers is to always do a quick search on our site for coupon codes when you are buying something online. You might be surprised with the money you can save with just a few clicks. If there's an offer that interests you, just copy the promo code (usually a string of numbers and/or letters), go back to your store checkout page and paste the code into the box.
